Students sit on chairs in a circle, except for one student who stands in the middle. There are only enough chairs for those already sitting down. The student in the middle says "Change places if ..." with a condition such as "you have blond hair", or "you like bananas". All students who respond positively to this condition have to stand up and find another seat, while the standing student tries to find a seat of their own. There will inevitably be a person left in themiddle, and they take over the centre position.
Students all stand in a circle. One (selected) student says "one"and sits down. now any student other than those directly next to that person can say "two" and sit down, but there is no pattern as to who it might be. If two students speak at the same time, the game starts again.
Get the students to organise themselves into a line as fast as possible, based on factors like age, height, etc. To add a competitive edge while simplifying the game, form the students into smaller groups to perform the lining up.

Every student is secretly given an occupation. Two of each occupation is given out, so there are always two students with the same occupation. They have to act out their occupation and try to find the other student who has it WITHOUT talking. When they are certain they have found their job partner, they sit down.
Give the students a simple sentence. The whole class repeats it back to you a number of times. Now have them say the setnence as if they were talking to a toddler, then shouting across the playground, then as if you are really bored, then really enthusiastic. Try to end with the enthusiastic one, as the mood might stick with them!
Chinese Mimes Students sit in a row, all facing in the same direction (forward along the row). The teacher secretly describes an action to the student at the end, who then taps the student in front of them.That student turns out, and the student at the end mimes out the action to them. The student who was then mimed to turns around, taps the student in front of them and continues. By the end, contrast the original action with how the subtle changes have affected it along the way.
All students, except for one, sit in a tight circle. The 'detective' student leaves the room, and a pencil is given to one of the students in the tight circle. The detective comes back in, the the circle students have to pass the pencil around the circle without the detective seeing it. The detective has three guesses at who has the pencil.
