Fish and Rocks Each student gets a marker and puts it down in their own personal space. Divide the students into two groups. On your command, one of the groups stands up and the other crouches down. The standing students (fish) must semi-tiptoe around the room (swim) while avoiding the rocks, until your signal when they have to swim back to their original markers.

Traffic Students pretend to be driving cars. You stand somewhere they can all see you, with some way of signalling either green, orange or red. Students drive between and around each other, according to the traffic light you are signalling.

• Green - Drive reasonably fast with little running steps
• Orange - Creep around slowly, as if ready to stop
• Red - Stop the car and apply the brake.
